The Vietnam Security Police Association (VSPA) offers a scholarship, the J.J. Chestnut Scholarship.
Here's what you need to know about the VSPA scholarship:
Eligibility: The scholarship is open to VSPA members, their spouses, children, grandchildren, stepchildren/step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Award Amount: Typically, one $1000 award is given annually.
Purpose: The scholarship supports individuals seeking education beyond the high school level, including trade schools, community colleges, junior colleges, or four-year colleges or universities.
Application: VSPA members can request applications on behalf of eligible individuals. Survivors of deceased VSPA members can also request applications.
Deadline: The deadline for the 2024 scholarship was October 1, 2025. Please check the VSPA website or contact them directly for information about future scholarship opportunities.
